Estimate of the survey carried out by GAD3 for El Tiempo de Canarias
- Narciso Michavila, presented the results of the first survey carried out by GAD3 for TIEMPO DE CANARIAS, at a meeting organised by the Club Tiempo de Canarias at the Hotel Mencey in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
In the Canary Islands, the PSOE would win between 26-27 seats. CC would reach 15-16 deputies. The PP would then obtain 16 MPs. Unidas Sí Podemos would have 2-3 seats, Vox 3-4 and Más Canarias 2 seats. Finally, Agrupación Socialista Gomera would obtain between 3 deputies and Agrupación Herreña Independiente with 1 seat.

Universe: residents of the Canary Islands with the right to vote.
Scope: regional, insular and municipal (Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria).
Quotas: by sex, age with geographical affiliation.
Data collection procedure:computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI).
Sample size: 2,009 interviews (804 fixed and 1,205 mobile) with the following distribution. The Canary Islands data in the report are weighted by the area variable for a proportional adjustment to the population.
Sampling error: ± 4.1% (n=587), ± 4.1% (n=611), ± 3.2% (n=967), ± 3.1% (n=1,042), ± 2.2% (n=2,009), for a confidence level of 95.5% (two sigmas) and under the worst-case scenario of P=Q=0.5 in the simple random sampling assumption.
Interview length: 5-6 minutes.
Fieldwork dates: 30 March to 18 April 2023.
