4 February marks World Cancer Day. On the occasion of this day, the ECO Foundation will present and analyse the data from a survey carried out by GAD3 as part of the Cancer Now project in the Congress of Deputies. A study which reveals that this disease is the main health concern for Spanish society. In 2020, it is estimated that an average of 300 people died of cancer every day in our country.
According to the results, 73% of those surveyed say that Spain spends less on healthcare than other European countries. And 69% believe that administrations do not do what is necessary to provide professionals with the resources to deal with this situation.
