Barometer on the monarchy conducted by GAD3 for ABC
In view of the beginning of the academic year 2024/2025, GAD3 has elaborated for ABC a survey on the situation of the monarchy. This study shows that 76% of the population considers positive that Princess Leonor has military training and 72% considers that she will reign giving continuity to the monarchy. Regarding the evaluations of the members of the Royal Household, the best valued are the King, Princess Leonor and Queen Sofia.

Universe: general population over 18 years of age residing in Spain.
Scope: national.
Quotas: by sex, age and geographical area according to population distribution (INE).
Data collection procedure: Computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI).
Sample size: 800 interviews, 291 to landlines and 509 to mobiles.
Sampling error: 3.5% (n= 800) for a degree of confidence of 95.5% (two sigmas) and in the worst case scenario of P=Q=0.5 under the assumption of simple random sampling.
Interview duration: 4 minutes.
Fieldwork dates: July 1-12, 2024.
