Javier García

Data consultant

I work in the consulting department at GAD3, where I participate in projects that combine data analysis with strategic decision-making for clients in the public and private sectors. I am responsible for processing, automating, and visualizing information, always seeking to ensure that the data speaks clearly and provides real value. I am particularly interested in how to apply quantitative methodologies and digital tools to solve problems from a practical and efficient approach.

I have a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Salamanca, during which time I had the opportunity to study at Sciences Po Lille and specialize in European and international studies. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Political and Electoral Analysis at the Carlos III University of Madrid, specializing in political and electoral data analysis. I have been vice president of one of the longest-running student representation associations at the University of Salamanca, which allowed me to get involved in organizational processes and institutional campaigns at the university level.

Before diving into social sciences, I studied computer engineering for a while. This stage allowed me to develop a solid technical foundation and familiarize myself with logical thinking and programming. Today, that experience translates into skills that I apply daily, working with languages such as R and approaching data with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.

And when I’m not in front of the computer, you’ll probably find me in a movie theater, watching a western or something by David Lynch. For a while, I even had a podcast about cinema, yet another excuse to talk about one of my greatest passions. I also tend to lose myself discovering new music or reading an essay or novel. I like to think that understanding a society also means understanding its culture, its contradictions… and the questions it leaves unanswered.

If you would like to contact me to discuss politics, cinema, or any other topic, I would be delighted to connect via LinkedIn.
