Javier Sánchez

Research consultant

Since joining GAD3, I have developed my career in the field of quantitative research, with a special focus on socio-electoral studies, as well as sectors such as healthcare, education, housing, and consumption. I began my career as a field coordinator in telephone research and, over time, I have taken on greater responsibility in project management, client relations, and team leadership.

Before graduating with a degree in Sociology and Political Science from Carlos III University in Madrid, I began studying Biology at Complutense University. Life took me down a different path, but I retain from that stage the analytical curiosity and methodological rigor that I now apply to social research.

In my work, I strive to maintain a constant balance between technical rigor and the practical usefulness of data. My goal is for each study to not only describe reality, but also actively contribute to transforming it. I find it particularly stimulating to explore the potential of surveys as a means of gaining an in-depth understanding of society’s motivations, perceptions, and behaviors, thereby guiding decisions that are more fair, informed, and effective.

In addition, I have had the opportunity to participate in various academic collaborations and in the preparation of publications related to social analysis, which has given me a space to delve deeper into the more reflective and critical approach of the discipline. This facet has complemented my professional career, allowing me to broaden my perspective on the various challenges I face in my field.

Outside of work, I devote much of my time to music, my other passion. I play several instruments and find, especially in rock, an inexhaustible source of energy and creativity. Some days are very busy, and others are very quiet. The key is to keep up the pace.
