Jimena Sánchez
Data Consultant
I work in the consultancy area at GAD3, where I collaborate on projects that combine data and strategy to help public and private sector clients make better-informed decisions. My work focuses on automating processes, cleaning and visualising data, and building analyses that deliver real value not just figures. I am particularly interested in working at the intersection of data science and social sciences, where asking the right questions is just as important as providing precise answers.
I am currently a student of the double degree in Philosophy, Politics, Law and Economics (PPLE) + Business Data and Analytics (DBA) at IE University in Madrid. This combination allows me to approach challenges from a dual perspective: on the one hand, the technical rigour required to analyse and interpret data accurately; on the other, the ability to formulate relevant questions grounded in a deep understanding of political, social and legal systems. I have received honours in courses focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning, where I have worked with a range of modelling approaches, including supervised and unsupervised techniques, natural language processing and neural networks. This academic path has strengthened my interest in integrating advanced tools into social, political and organisational projects where data truly drives decision-making.
In my free time, I enjoy reading particularly essays and practising horse riding, which helps me disconnect from the fast-paced rhythm of data-driven work. I am also interested in music and enjoy discovering new styles and artists. Having lived in Luxembourg, Switzerland, Uruguay and Spain has fuelled my curiosity to understand different cultural contexts and learn from them. Moving between and adapting to different environments has always been a core part of how I understand learning.
If you would like to know more or connect with me, I would be delighted to do so via my LinkedIn profile.
