Mario Martín

Research Consultant

I have worked with a wide variety of clients: public institutions, universities, political parties, and companies of all kinds both inside and outside Spain. This diversity has allowed me to identify the specific needs of each project and client. These can vary widely, from corporate communication to social research or electoral analysis.

In this way, I have had the opportunity to develop my skills to the point where I can control all aspects of the survey process. My training and experience have allowed me to build a holistic profile in this regard, carrying out a wide range of tasks: from sample design and questionnaire drafting to fieldwork coordination, data processing, and the interpretation and presentation of results. I have also worked on the preparation of customized reports for very different audiences, adapting technical language to both specialized and non-expert audiences.

I graduated in Political Science and International Relations from Leiden University. I also completed a master’s degree in Political and Electoral Analysis at Carlos III University in Madrid. Since then, I have focused my career on opinion polling, with the conviction that political and strategic decisions are more accurate when they are based on data.

My professional goal is to continue growing in this field, with a focus on how social research can contribute to improving decision-making, reducing uncertainty, and adding value through empirical knowledge. I speak English fluently and have an intermediate level of German and French, which allows me to communicate effectively with teams and clients in international contexts.

Outside of work, one of my great passions is music. I am interested in everything related to the world of guitar, from progressive rock to flamenco, soul, and jazz.

I am always open on LinkedIn to discuss new ideas that contribute to generating useful knowledge for decision-making.
