Mónica Fernández
Qualitative research consultant
Since joining GAD3, I have developed my career in the qualitative and social analysis sector, collaborating on studies aimed at gaining an in-depth understanding of social behaviors. I work with methodologies that give people a voice and allow their stories to be translated into strategic information for clients in both the public and private sectors.
My training in Criminology at the Complutense University of Madrid. Subsequent master’s degrees in Consumer Psychology at EAE and Corporate Communication at Next Education have given me a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates social sensitivity, critical thinking, and a strategic approach. Before joining GAD3, I worked as a strategic planner at an advertising agency, which taught me to connect data and intuition, creativity and method, always with a clear goal: to generate impact through knowledge.
I am passionate about everything related to emotions, stories, and human behavior. I believe that social research should go beyond describing realities: it should help to transform them. That is why I am particularly motivated to be part of projects that contribute to designing more humane and effective policies, products, or messages.
Outside of academia and my professional life, I have launched my own event planning project. Through this, I have developed skills in management, branding, and experience design. Planning an event and conducting qualitative and social analysis have something in common. Both require listening, anticipating, paying attention to detail, and understanding people in depth.
After work, I usually divide my time between the discipline of the gym, the creativity of my sculpture and ceramics workshop, and the adventures of Louis, my French bulldog, who reminds me every day of the importance of patience, humor, and strategic naps. I also find constant inspiration in the world of lifestyle, where the aesthetic, the emotional, and the social intertwine.
