Motivation to learn about AI and its impact on the world of work and the role of educational institutions
3 out of 4 people are willing to learn about AI. Among those who are unwilling, the main reason is lack of interest and rejection of the technology. This tool has burst into the workplace, with company training programmes being the main measure to mitigate the negative impact of AI on the labour market. 82% believe that AI will replace certain professional profiles in the future. Furthermore, they believe that the main fields affected will be education professionals and administrative technicians. Colombian students also believe that educational institutions need to establish partnerships with companies and organisations in the AI sector to improve the employability training of these university students.
