According to the conclusions of the Botín Foundationstudy, carried out by GAD3, “The perception, knowledge and assessment of the Botín Centre in Cantabria”, 90% of Cantabrians believe that the Botín Centre has had a positive or very positive impact on the image of the region. In addition, 57% of respondents say that their perception has improved over the years.
The study also includes in-depth interviews with fourteen cultural and tourism agents operating in Cantabria. All the interviewees affirm that the Botín Centre has become a cultural reference point, especially at the local level, considering it the precursor of the “cultural ring” of the city.
