GAD3 has presented the I Study on the situation of Madrid’s legal profession for ICAM
The study was presented by the president of GAD3 at the ICAM headquarters as part of the presentation of the magazine Otrosí, where he was accompanied by the dean Eugenio Ribón and the deputy dean Isabel Winkels, among others. This barometer is an unprecedented x-ray of the situation of the legal profession in Madrid that allows us to observe trends in the major aspects of the profession. It shows that 52% of ICAM lawyers earn more than 40,000 euros gross per year. Other data to highlight from the study is that 71% of lawyers suffered verbal or written mistreatment, discourtesy or restriction in the exercise of the right of defence and that it is one of the most balanced professions in terms of gender: 54% of practising lawyers are men and 46% are women.
