The press conference was attended by Javier Castrodeza, Head of the Preventive Medicine Department of the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valladolid, among other professionals from the sector. According to the study, in which 2,219 people participated, 49% of the Spanish population intends to be vaccinated against influenza.
In addition, 88% of pharmacists rated positively the collaboration of pharmacies during the pandemic, 75% considered that they have been a key health agent in the detection of COVID-19 and have helped to decongest Primary Care. Likewise, more than 40% of Spaniards rely on the vaccine as the main preventive measure against influenza.
