Patricia Abad, Head of Qualitative Research, at the First Meeting of Spain’s Autonomous Communities
Prensa Ibérica hosted today the First Meeting of Spain’s Autonomous Communities, a conference that brought together leading institutional representatives, professionals and political leaders to analyse the major challenges facing Spain’s regions.

Within the section of the conference dedicated to employment, Patricia Abad, Head of Qualitative Research at GAD3, took part to present the main findings of the AI Barometer, a study produced for Planeta Formación y Universidades. The research analyses the real impact of artificial intelligence and, this year, focuses on the workplace, examining the views of executives and employees from different sectors, including audiovisual media, education and healthcare.
The session, moderated by Juan Carlos Lozano, Head of Assets, hosted and guided the conversation between Patricia and Adelaida Portela, Vice-Rector for Educational Innovation and International Relations at UNIE. The open dialogue focused on how artificial intelligence is reshaping learning processes, lifelong education and the most in-demand professional profiles.
It was an enriching conversation that highlighted the importance of continuing to invest in artificial intelligence in order to overcome fear and uncertainty, and to harness technological advances to our advantage — automating tasks while also creating spaces for dialogue to anticipate the future of work.
