Planeta Formación y Universidades presents the Artificial Intelligence and Future Employability Barometer
On 15 April 2026, Rome hosted the presentation of the Artificial Intelligence and Future Employability Barometer, a study promoted by Planeta Formación y Universidades (PFU) and developed by GAD3. Patricia Abad, Head of Qualitative Research at GAD3, presented the main findings during a session held at Rome Business School.
The event brought together representatives from academia, senior executives, and professionals from the technology and business sectors to reflect on the impact of artificial intelligence on the workplace, with a particular focus on organisational transformation, leadership, and the evolution of skills.
The institutional opening was led by Antonio Ragusa, Dean of Rome Business School, who highlighted the importance of creating spaces for analysis in a context shaped by the rapid advancement of AI and its growing influence on the economic and social landscape.

The barometer in detail: key findings of the study
During her presentation, Patricia Abad outlined the most significant findings of the barometer, providing an overall view of the level of artificial intelligence implementation within companies, as well as the challenges associated with its adoption, particularly in the field of training and education.
Throughout the session, she emphasised the need to interpret the data from a qualitative perspective, allowing for a deeper understanding not only of the extent to which AI is being used, but also of how professionals perceive it and the implications it has for their daily work. The study shows that, although AI is becoming increasingly present in the corporate environment, significant challenges remain in terms of talent training and adaptation.

A multidisciplinary dialogue on the future of work
Following the presentation, a roundtable discussion brought together experts from different areas connected to the artificial intelligence ecosystem. Moderated by Antonio Ragusa, the session was conceived as an open conversation addressing the main challenges and opportunities posed by AI in the professional world.
