- The latest GAD3 tracking for RCN offers the following assessment of Colombians after the first three months of Gustavo Petro’s government.
Colombians, asked about various issues of interest to the country, say that their personal and family economic situation has worsened by 59.3% in the last three months, and that of Colombia by 62%. 91.8% of Colombians consider that they have noticed an increase in the cost of living. In terms of satisfaction with Gustavo Petro’s national government, 34.2% consider themselves very satisfied or satisfied. 39.4%, however, are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied.

Universe: general population residing in Colombia and eligible to vote.
Scope: National.
Quotas: by gender, age and geographical area. Proportional anchoring in the country as a whole.
Information collection procedure: Computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) to mobile phones in Colombia.
Sample size: 1,002 interviews.
Sampling error: 3.2% (n= 1,002), for a confidence level of 95.5% (two sigmas) and under the worst-case scenario of P=Q=0.5 in the simple random sampling assumption.
Duration of the interview: approximately 8-10 minutes.
Fieldwork dates: 26 October to 2 November 2022.
